Paw-Fect Heroes


Every great story has unforgettable heroes — and mine begins with a pack of lively Shih-Tzus, a dragon with a big heart, and a baker who knows that love (and cupcakes) can solve almost anything. Some of these characters live in my stories, others wag their tails in my home, but all of them bring magic, laughter, and a little sweetness to life.

Biscuit

Cartoon Biscuit: Fearless, bold, and fiercely independent, Biscuit is never afraid to charge into an adventure head-first. She believes she can handle anything on her own — and sometimes learns the hard way that teamwork makes the magic happen.

Real Biscuit: My lion-hearted little lady. At home, she’s just as self-assured as her storybook twin — strutting proudly, always the first to explore, and never waiting for anyone’s permission. She’s brave, determined, and absolutely knows what she wants (especially when it comes to snacks!).

Cupcake

Cartoon Cupcake: Sweet, thoughtful, and a little dreamy, Cupcake may not be the boldest adventurer, but she is the heart of the team. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and quiet wisdom often bring balance when others rush headlong into trouble.

Real Cupcake: My gentle little dreamer. In real life, she adores cozy blankets, soft spots by the window, and watching the world with calm curiosity. She’s affectionate, cuddly, and always brings warmth to everyone around her — just like her storybook twin.

Zephyr

Cartoon Zephyr: Loyal, playful, and just a little mischievous, Zephyr is the Shih-Tzus’ magical best friend. With wings that can whisk the pups into the skies and a heart as big as his appetite, he’s always ready to protect his friends — or sneak a treat when Mrs. Willow isn’t looking. His bravery shines brightest when his loved ones are in danger.

Inspiration: Zephyr was born from my love of adding a dash of magic to everyday life. He represents that special friend we all wish for as children — someone strong, kind, and full of wonder who makes the world feel bigger and brighter.

Mrs. Willow

Cartoon Mrs. Willow: Gentle, warm, and always covered in a little flour, Mrs. Willow is the heart of the bakery and the pups’ devoted “mummy.” Her pastries bring comfort, but her wisdom and kindness are what truly guide the Shih-Tzus and Zephyr through their adventures.

Inspiration: Mrs. Willow is a tribute to all the caring women who make others feel safe and loved — grandmothers, mothers, and teachers who always know how to turn a house into a home (and a kitchen into a place of magic). She reminds us that kindness and love are the greatest superpowers of all.
